What to expect
Visiting us for the first time? Here's what to expect:
Church service begins at 10:30 in the sanctuary.
Dress is comfortable - you will see a range of clothing styles as vast as the range of members
(jeans and khakis to dresses and suits)
ALL are welcome!
There is a youth time during the worship service for all children to feel a part of the service. There are volunteers to accompany your children (birth through first grade) to a nursery area, or there are student backpacks located where youth time is held. They are welcome to borrow one and keep themselves busy during the scripture reading and sermon. Of course, children may stay and sit with their parents during the worship experience.
A projection screen displaying the spoken text or hymns, possibly video segments and sermon slides.
As Christian Church (Disciple of Christ) followers, we celebrate communion each Sunday. All who are believers are welcome as guests of our Lord Jesus to participate in Communion.
Want more than just a worship experience? Join us at 9:00 for an adult study in the library.
We are a handicapped accessible building with no outside stairs with accessible restrooms. There is a wheelchair available if one is needed inside the building.
The first Sunday of the month includes a potluck lunch after the service, followed by the church's monthly Board Meeting. If you visit that week and didn't bring anything for the meal, don't worry! We always have room and food for any visitors!
At the end of the worship time we stand and make a circle holding hands and sing Blest Be the Tie together before leaving.
